Our Process

How We Respond to Your Call:

We don’t like surprises any more than our customers do. So communication, honesty, and integrity play a major role in our business and our history. We are not a marketing company and do not offer free gifts or a high pressure sales program. Tom, Ben, and Jeff do the estimates and they truly care about offering the best solution to fit the customer’s needs.

Call our office at 734-994-6500. You will be speaking with either Lindsay, Luke, Kathy, Cabrina, or Joy. They will ask you a few questions to help them understand your needs and to make sure we have good contact information. Afterwards, they will set up a time for either Tom or Ben to visit your home.

Kathy, Joy, and Cabrina can answer any questions about our finance programs. They will go over the details and discuss your financial preferences.

When your estimator arrives, they will address your needs and specific concerns. They will ask a lot of questions that are related to the house and it’s history, and will need to look in your attic to check on potential mold issues, roof deck condition, roof ventilation, and insulation.

Once they have completed an extremely thorough inspection, they will review a job site form with you that identifies all the issues, solutions, your specific requests, and potential problems. After all of this information is completed, they will give you a rough estimate on your project. If you feel that our company is a trusted contractor for your family’s needs, we will prepare a formal written estimate that details specific products to be used, the warranty system to be applied, and the cost. This proposal will be submitted to you via email.

If you chose Neighborhood Roofing, we require a signed agreement and 1/3 deposit or approved financing. After the deposit is received and processed, we will give you an installation window.

Next is the Production Phase:

Keith and Tracy are our trusted project managers. They have Factory Installation Certifications on all of the roof systems that we offer. Keith & Tracy will take care of the details, from ordering all materials to overseeing the job on the day of installation. They will be on the job site the day construction begins and continually visit throughout the day to check progress, answer questions, and supervise specific details and construction issues.

When the job is finished, Keith and Tracy will complete a final walk through to make sure the details on the roof, in your yard, in your attic, and in your mind are completed. They will be ready, willing and able to review anything that you feel needs to be completed or changed. They will then turn in a completion slip and Kathy will invoice you for the balance of your project. It could take up to 10 days to received your final invoice. This invoice is due 1 week after it is sent via email.

As with all of our projects, if there is something you find at a later date or have a question, our 48 year reputation speaks for itself. We will be right out to address our customer’s needs!
